I come from a family of crafters. When I was a very young child, I would go to my great grandmothers house and take out all the pretty quilting squares from her piles and piles of squares. She used to cut up old clothes into squares with pinking shears, and would send all the squares to her church. The church quilting bee would then turn them into quilts and donate them where ever needed. I used to take the squares I loved and turn them into purses and wallets, bags and blankets for my dolls.
As I got older I learned to do other things, my Mom is also a big crafter, and ever since two of her three children moved out, she dedicated a whole room to her crafting. I may have turned 3 shades of green.
But now, NOW I have a craft room just for me!
This week I dove into my spare room and turned it into a room dedicated for crafting! And I know with all the time I’ve been spending in the Christmas pins on Pinterest that I’ll be putting this room to great use! I actually already began my first Christmas craft! It’s a wee little bird house that I got at Michael’s…my test one before I buy the big one…but that’s another post all together.
Do you have a room for crafting?
