Week 15 – Featured Commentor:
This week’s loyal commenter is Petula from It’s a Woman’s World.
A multi-generational mom of four (meaning her children span a wide age range from 17 to 1), Petula offers plenty of humor, grace, advice and wisdom on her blog. As a freelance writer/editor, Petula’s writing style is professional, laid back and easy to read. In short, she invites you in and you want to stay.
But It’s a Woman’s World is not Petula’s only blogging endeavor. She also spearheads Toddlers2Teens, her blog devoted entirely to the multigenerational parent. Offering tips on balancing the responsibilities of raising children while also clinging to both sanity and career, Petula has a wealth of knowledge and information that any mom can tap into.
In her words, Petula describes herself as “the mother of four children ages 1, almost 4, 5 and 17, and a multigenerational mom.
Being an MM can have its challenges in balancing time and attention. For instance, my 1-year-old daughter may need a dirty diaper changed while my 17-year-old daughter wants to tell me what her boyfriend said. All while the two middle children play with cars around my feet, yell at each other and rush to the bathroom before they pee on themselves.
That’s my life.
Thank you, Petula, for sharing your life, your challenges and your wisdom with us, your readers. You are an inspiration.
And, of course, thank you for being such a loyal commenter here at 5 Minutes for Mom! Please display this Loyal Commenter badge with pride.
