My daughter Gracie goes back to school in two weeks. Summer has flown by! It feels like we haven’t really had time to enjoy each other.
There are a few things that we always do to get ready for going back to school – we focus on making sure she has her yearly checkup and an eye exam. Vision care is so important to me. My Granny had cancer in her eye and had to have it removed. So I have always felt that you needed to be proactive and on top of things. I can’t imagine how it would be to not be able to see. My vision is very important to me.

We all wear glasses! I started wearing glasses in the 3rd grade and my daughter started in Kindergarten. Lots of near-sightedness passed down from my dad’s side of the family.
My husband used to wear glasses but did not need for driving. Now his eyes have gotten worse, plus he is majorly trying to avoid the need for readers. He is always squinting and he’s just WAY too cute to get those nasty wrinkles. LOL> He won’t go in for an appt. cuz of the money. sad.
