Week 14 – Featured Commentor:
This week’s loyal commenter is Stephanie from Metropolitan Mama.
Stephanie is a mother of two young girls, her youngest only a month and a half old. While she is most likely sleep deprived, Stephanie does not at all portray a frazzled mom in her writing. In fact, her blog posts are so up beat and so full of useful information that you almost wonder how on earth she does it all.
And advocate of co-sleeping and baby wearing, Stephanie fills her blog with contests, giveaways and encouragement to new moms everywhere. Are you wondering what items are essential to have for a newborn? Check out this post. There is also an extensive list of unecessary items for babyhood.
A description taken directly from her site, Stephanie describes Metropolitan Mama as: “a blog geared to moms and moms-to-be that exists to help moms as they travel along Baby Boulevard, Toddler Trail, Kid Court, and beyond. Content is updated daily and includes book and product reviews, giveaways, how-to articles, and commentary on culture/motherhood.”
I don’t know about you, but that sounds like a perfect blog to me!
Stephanie writes: I love a lot of things. I love:
my handsome, heroic husband - his sandy-colored hair and thoughtful green eyes, the way he can fix anything (from cars to computers to bad days), the fact that he cares for his girls.
my two gorgeous little girls - our active, adorable 2-year-old and our peaceful, pretty 1-month-old.
working at home. It’s this great “compromise.” I can be actively involved with my sweet girls, but I can also use my mind and abilities beyond tea parties, tantrums, and telling stories.
living in Arizona - the spectacular sunsets, the incredible weather, the fact that we can get to snow or the sea in four hours or less.
blogging – this little corner of the blogosphere that allows me to connect to friends and companies and causes from all over the world.
running, but I’m not really the marathon type. I like 5Ks and being fit – the way it feels to be strong and healthy.

It’s good to be able to visit all these blogs that are new to me! I tried to visit as many as I had time to today but let me tell you Cascia has gone to each & every one. I am totally amazed! She definitely deserves to be a LOYAL COMMENTER! I do not know her but she has gone & been totally a blessing!
