I love my laundry hamper organizer. Now if only I’d remember to do the laundry before each compartment piled up so high that it collapses under the weight and is now held together with ribbons *sigh*

As to where I got the hamper… I picked it up a few months ago at our local Canadian Tire store. It is called a “Triple Laundry Sorter” and it also says “Clothing Care” on the box and the brand is “Urbana”. But I did a quick search on Google and I couldn’t find it.

Yes, it is rather huge and I was worried it wouldn’t fit in the closet. Since I didn’t have a measuring tape handy to measure my closet, I just hoped it would fit and built it anyway. I was sooooo relieved when it fit!

And Stephanie, I’m telling you… if you could only see me here in real life sitting here in my yoga pants, with no makeup, hair undone, in the middle of a complete mess, you’d realize that you’re waaaaay ahead of me girl.

Oh my goodness. I feel better. I have felt awful lately with mommy guilt about this same thing. Where did you get that hamper? Is it as huge as it looks? I want one so please let me know where.

I love the feeling after getting organized. It really is a freeing thing!

Susan, can I just say this post made me feel so much better? Sometimes it seems like all the moms in the blogosphere manage to have perfectly groomed and manicured kids, a sparkling house, a successful blog/business, and a wardrobe full of fashionable clothes.

And here I sit in yoga pants with my hair in a ponytail holding a newborn baby, typing one-handed, and wishing for maid service.

It’s good to know I’m not the only one.

P.S. I can’t wait to hear about your “other” blogging cleaning project. You are such a tease.

I haven’t tackled anything and blogged about it in a while. :0( Maybe I’ll join the bandwagon again now that I’ve got a new public blog (used to blog at Sweet Serenity). Anyway, I like the divided hamper and wonder where you got it. I like the idea of sorting as you go along. Thankfully laundry is a task I enjoy, especially with five of us in the household. :0)

I love the idea of putting the hamper in the closet like that – ours are always overflowing (sigh) and such an eyesore… Now I just have to clean out the closets, lol.
