I’ve always considered myself an upbeat person – generally happy and content with life. But stresses, financial struggles, work, chemical imbalances and hormones have left me struggling with depression in my 30s. I really related with Deb’s latest post on 5 Minutes for Faith as I was checking in the the sister sites this week, and loved her three tips for living a happy life, despite the challenges.
Are You Happy? Do You Want to Be Happy?
Let me begin by telling you that I have battled depression . . . both situational and chemical/hormonal. I’ve been depressed at times when the people around me understood, and at times when they had no idea what to do or how to help.
If you are dealing with depression know that I am praying for you as I write this.
Something I have learned from my struggle with depression:
I want to be happy!
