Potty Patrol to the Rescue!

by Lesley

Potty training your child can be one of the more difficult things you do as a parent. Each child is different and you never know how they are going to react to attempting such a big thing.

My daughter was extremely difficult. She was a week shy of her 3rd birthday before she was fully potty trained. My son was much easier. He started using the potty off and on from the time he was 16 months old, and he was fully potty trained by 27 months. I tried many different tricks, some worked better than others.

Potty Patrol is an innovative product that helps with potty training. The system’s main feature is the Potty Training Alarm Diapers. You place the potty training sensor diaper on your child and snap on an alarm. When the diaper starts to become wet there is a short siren and then Twinkle Twinkle Litte Star will start to play. This is a way to let parents and child know they need to go to the bathroom immediately. You can reuse the alarm  with another diaper.

Benefits of Using Potty Patrol

from the Potty Patrol website

Save Time

Traditional toilet training can often be a long and frustrating process. Using proprietary technology, Potty Patrol helps you potty train children more quickly. So you and your child can move ahead to a more mobile and independent phase of parenting, without the hindrance of carrying around supplies and finding appropriate places to change and dispose of diapers.

Save Money

Parents use approximately 1600 diapers a year, which costs them about $640. An average child will use close to $2,000 worth of disposable diapers before being potty trained. Potty Patrol can help free you from the financial burden of diapers by helping your child become potty trained more quickly and easily.

Save the Earth*…Or at least help!

Americans throw away 570 diapers per second, which equals approximately 49 million diapers per day, and 18 billion diapers per year. We will pay an average of $350 million annually to deal with their disposal. Worst of all, these diapers will still be in landfills 300 years from now. By helping to speed potty training, Potty Patrol can significantly reduce the waste that is being created by current diapering habits.

This product sounds wonderful! I know my children always got so busy playing that they didn’t always notice getting wet. With a siren and music they can’t not notice! Want to see Potty-Patrol in action? Check out this cute tutorial on “How It Works“.

This product’s idea is genius! I remember how much persistent trouble I had potty training my son when he was a baby. It was definitely the most troubling thing I ever did in parenting a baby, haha. If only we had products like this before! Nice one Lesley.
