Week 11 – Featured Commentor:
This week’s loyal commenter is Tara from Tara’s View of the World.
Tara, a pastor’s wife and mother of three, originally started her blog as a means to journal the lives of her children. It morphed, however, as she found that blogging became therapeutic. As Tara writes, “blogging is fabulous free therapy!”
Tara (that’s pronounced Tar-ah, not Ter-ah) writes about a variety of topics from her faith in God, her experiences as mother to a child with Asperger’s Syndrome and her own struggles to reviews, giveaways and contests. In short, Tara’s blog has something for everyone.
Do you have the distinct feeling that you’ve seen Tara before – that, perhaps, you’ve even visited her blog? Well perhaps, then, you’ve stumbled upon her fabulous site directly through 5 Minutes for Mom . Tara joined our directory in June, 2007 and can be found in the Christian Moms Category.
Read Tara’s interview here.
Tara was also a featured in The Sampler in September 2008 so she is no stranger to our site. And we are thankful for her faithful participation.
Tara describes herself as “an imperfect pastor’s wife and an imperfect stay at home mother of 3 beautiful children. Olivia is 2 years old, Owen is 5 years old, and Aiden is 6 years old and has recently been diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome (high functioning Autism).
I blog about my daily joys and challenges as a stay at home mom. I blog about what it is like to be a rather unique pastor’s wife. I blog about my frustrations and joys parenting a special needs child and about my experiences dealing with medical professionals/educational specialists/mental health folks in my quest to get help for my kiddo. I blog about my struggle with depression.”
Thank you, Tara, for blogging honestly and deeply about your life and your family. Thank you for keeping us entertained while also giving us a glimpse into your life.
And, of course, thank you for being such a loyal commenter here at 5 Minutes for Mom! Please display this Loyal Commenter badge with pride.
