Benefits of Easy Turf Artificial Grass

by Jacqui Stewart

I’m not sure about you, but as a home owner, one of the things I hate dealing with is my grass.  It has to be cut every two weeks, because if it gets too long?  We are fined $50!  Yes, they have someone who will drive around and tape a fine to your door if it is too long.

Easy Turf offers a solution to the problem of constant yard maintenance: synthetic grass.

Easy Turf‘s synthetic grass is the type used on football and baseball fields, but individuals can also purchase Easy Turf to help keep their yard looking great at home. No more cutting the grass, seeding it to get a lush cover, or worrying during times of drought. And Easy Turf lasts 15 – 20 years, provided that basic care is taken.

Easy Turf products are:

  • 100% porous and 100% permeable, allowing liquids to quickly drain
  • the safest, cleanest, most healthy and hypoallergenic landscape surface
  • equipped with built in weed barrier to help reduce installation costs associated with other synthetic turf
  • the only trusted name for Humane Societies, animal shelters and pet care facilities across North America (note: They also have a selection of grass for pet owners.)

How do you maintain your grass?  Do you do it yourself?  Or do you hire a company to do it for you?  I’d love to hear your stories!

Ick, I would never ever have fake grass. But then, I don’t live somewhere where they’ll fine you like that (and if I did, I’d move.)

I would definitely be interested in it. I imagine it’s expensive, though.

When you compare it to the cost of maintence, upkeep and watering of a real lawn many of our customers find that they save moeny in the long run!

I would love to have artificial turfs in my backyard. Aside from easy turf, there are other companies here in San Diego Area that offers synthetic grass installation (www.socalgreens.com) presented me their offer and I am having second thoughts this time. My question is, how synthetic grass brands differ from one other? is it the material and quality? hope someone answers my question.

thanks

Hi Lesley! Yes the quality and material is what sets EasyTurf apart from other companies. EasyTurf offers the highest quality and most realistic synthetic turf available on the market. The drainage is also another area where EasyTurf stands above the rest. EasyTurf’s Maxxflow backing is 100% permeable which means it fully drains all throughout the turf. Other companies simply punch holes every 6 inches or have what is called a felt backing which absorbs the liquid which can lead to odor problems or mold. If you live in the San Diego area we offer free design consultations so that we can show you the difference in person! If you have any additional questions please feel free to email me at szimmerman@easyturf.com

Hubby does all the mowing himself and on several occasions he has expressed that he wants to get artificial grass. Sounds good, but I’m not sure I would love it.

Forgive me if I sound so innocent but I’ve never heard of a community that fines its residents $50 because their grass is too long! That’s just way too expensive. I think that transferring to artificial grass is decision because not only did you save money but also time.. Imagine what you can do with your time on a Saturday afternoon.

I know someone who has an artificial turf in San Diego. She and her husband clean it with a water hose once every two weeks to get rid of all the weeds and debris. Every once in a while, they would hire a company to help them with the cleaning, then the workers will give them significant instructions on how to maintain its natural look.
