My kids sort of have an obsession with blankets.
They love them. Some have names, some have been dragged around the house for years, and others stay on their beds at all times. They freak out when I try to take some off. It wouldn’t be so bad if the blankets actually fit the toddler beds that the twins have, but they don’t. While we have all shapes and sizes, most are too big. Even the blankets they say are made for toddler beds are too long, which I have never liked.
Kiddie Blanket is an online boutique that offers larger blankets for toddlers. Kiddie Blankets are the perfect in-between sized blanket made with just enough wiggle room so your 1-4 year old toddler will stay covered. Made from 100% cotton varieties, Kiddie Blankets are sized 38×52 inches (compared to a baby blanket sized 30×36 inches or a twin sized 64×86 inches).
Parents can purchase their choice of lightweight, year-round, toasty fleece or blanket sets!
Lightweight blankets are made from 1 layer of comfy cotton flannel to keep your little one cool and comfortable and retail for $32.
Year-Round blankets are 100% pre-shrunk cotton. Made from 2 layers of comfy cotton flannel, these are perfect for anytime! They keep your little one the perfect temperature and retail for $45.
Toasty Fleece blankets are 100% pre-shrunk cotton flannel print on front and 100% polyester anti-pill fleece on back and retail for $75.
Blanket Sets come with 3 blankets so your toddler will be ready for any kind of weather. The $150 Set includes one toasty fleece blanket, one year-round blanket and one lightweight blanket.
We were actually sent one of the year round blankets and I was quite impressed with how it fit right on the toddler bed. My four year old was instantly in love and said it was ‘so comfy Mommy!’

Kiddie blankets look nice. My favorite blankets for toddlers are minkie blankets from Go Mama Go Designs. They are also toddler size blankets but extremely silky and comfy and the fabric is amazing. They last forever and still look like new when you wash them. They are a little more affordable than the kiddie blankets and have awesome designs. I have purchased them for a few of my daughter’s friends for birthday parities and the little girls were always amazed about how soft and “cool” they are.
These are all great items! We particularly love the versatile floor mat – comfortable and fun for babies and toddlers! Another floor mat we love is the Funky Baby Reversible Mat. Its fun colors are easily interchangeable and are enhanced by the soft cordoroy.
