I love this wireless world we live in.
Yes, there may still be a ton of cables, cords, and chargers driving us crazy, but the ability to hide those cords away and roam wireless is just.so.darn.fabulous. Such primitive, tethered lives we lived before. *wink*
Right now, I am testing out the Sonos Wireless HiFi System — controlled by an app on my iPhone! — and I am blown away. Rich, deep sound that isn’t just playing what I have on my hard drive or on my iPhone or iTouch. Sonos allows me to stream “all the music on earth” and it sounds great!
With Sonos, you can play:
- Your music library:
Play any music stored on any computer
or NAS drive.
- Free Internet radio:
Tune in to more than 100,000 Internet
radio stations, shows & podcasts for free.
- Online music services:
Stream millions of songs and stations
direct from the Internet —no computer
required. You can use Spotify, Pandora, Rhapsody, SiriusXM, and more, wherever in your house you want!
Easy, Easy, Easy!
Set up of Sonos defines simplicity. Just install the software on your computer, connect your bridge or speaker to your router, and push a button.
Wizards walk you through all of the set up and using the system is pretty intuitive. I had a small issue getting my computer to recognize my Sonos Bridge during set up. But all I did was reboot my router and I was good to go.
Don’t Miss this TARGET DEAL!!!
Target (in the US) is a offering a FREE Sonos Wireless HiFi System Bridge ($49.99 value) with the purchase of Sonos Play:3 or Play:5 from May 17th through to June 9. (Both in-store and online)
The wireless bridge connects to your router and allows you to use your speakers wireless in any room of your house. You can have one speaker or as many as your heart and household desires. And perhaps the best part is that you can play a different song in every room or play the same song everywhere, in perfect sync.
Hint: Give Dad Sonos and Enjoy it Too
The Sonos Wireless HiFi System is the perfect Father’s Day gift idea or Grad gift idea. (Personally, I would choose to give it to someone who lives in the same house I do, so I can use it too!)
You can start out with one bridge and one speaker and then add to your system over time. I know I am already wanting to purchase more speakers for other rooms in my house.

Please Note: This is a compensated post and I received a Sonos speaker and bridge to review. As always, my opinions are 100% my own. And yes, I think the Sonos system is awesome.
