Faith Builders — Praying for Canon’s Family

Written by Janice

Faith Builders

Canon

This weekend, young Canon died after complications following a heart transplant.

While Canon is home with the Lord, we know his family must be in excruciating pain missing him.

The Faith Builder’s Meme is honoring Canon and remembering his family in prayer today.

——————

Dear Heavenly Father,

Your children are hurting Lord and we call on you for their comfort and healing. This world can hurt so badly and right now Canon’s family is feeling the intense pain that death brings.

We praise you that Canon is safe and at peace with you, but we know that his family misses him so very, very much. Please Lord wrap your arms around them so tightly that they tangibly feel your presence and comfort. You know their pain. You feel it with them. Comfort them please.

Thank you Father that they know you and that they can find peace knowing that Canon is home with you.

In your merciful name Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Oh my - I know the sovereign God is not surprised by this and actually is holding the child Himself in Heaven, but nevertheless this can not be an easy thing to go through. Oh how i will pray that our Father will bring His comfort in amazing ways and they will hold tightly to all the encouragement the Lord brings through people like me and you!
