At our new carnival, Say It Forward, we ask you to highlight one, two, or more of your Loyal Commenters. These wonderful commenters are friends in the blogosphere.
They stand by you, cry with you, laugh with you, give advice and care. It means so much when someone takes the time to comment. That is why we want to make our commenters feel just as special.
This week we are featuring two of our loyal commenters.
First up is Upstate Mom.
Her lovely blog details the life of her family, which includes her fun loving, hockey playing son, her sweet baby girl and her terrific husband. She says this of her family:
We are a pretty regular, all American family. We love going out and doing things – anything really.
Whether it is the zoo, the museum, a site seeing trip or a hockey game we are out there loving life. We really have a great life and I could not ask for anything more.
In her blog, Our Life Upstate, the love she has for her family pours out in her posts. Just listen to her as she gushes about her children:
“My kids are amazing. Not only are they just a true joy but they are both so full of love. Especially love for each other. Big Brother was so excited for Baby Sister to get here.
The look on his face when the midwife said it was time is something I will never forget. And the smile she has for him simply lights up the room.”
You may notice that she leaves comments as UpstateMomof3, that is because she is anxiously waiting with baited breath on the arrival of the baby they are adopting from Ethipoia.
Our Second Loyal Commenter is Faerylandmom.
As a busy mother of four little ones, Faerylandmom, who blogs at Faery Inn, still finds the time to visit blogs and leave wonderful comments.
She is usually chock full of advice on anything birth and baby related.
Some of her most helpful comments have been on our posts dealing with cloth diapering and nursing.
Faerylandmom has a passion for all things birth related and is currently a labor doula – working on her certification through Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association (CAPPA). She has aspirations to direct-entry midwifery, once her children are much older.
when you visit her blog, you will laugh at the stories of her children and be moved by the posts in which she challenges herself in her relationship with God.
“I have a hard time trusting God completely, sometimes. Times like these, I need the Word of God to uphold me.
Trust in the Lord with all of your heart, lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6
This promise is so ripe right now, ready for me to take hold of it, and cling to it as though my life depended on it. Not that it hasn’t been relevant before now, it just seems so appropriate right now. As though it were written just for me, for this time, for this place.”
Thank you ladies for your many thoughtful comments. We appreciate you.
