Get Your Forecast with Ourcast

by Liza Corbo

I don’t know about you, but I LOVE my apps!

I am always looking for the newest, coolest app for my phone.  And have I mentioned I’m a little obsessed with the weather?  OK, maybe not me so much… but my kids sure are.  They must ask me 100 times a day what the weather is going to be.  (And they actually get mad when the weather seems to change from what was reported.)  Which is why this app is definitely needed in my house!

Ourcast: The app that lets us solve weather together!

From their website:

Ourcast is built of, by, and for the people. While we start with deep statistical modeling that predicts (really well) real-time weather all on its own, our community of users is what gives Ourcast life, love, and the pursuit of happiness.

Need to know if it will be raining when you walk out the door in 10 minutes? Ourcast tells you! It even tells you if there will be rain in any location you choose — during any minute over the next 2 hours.

Want to spread the word to some friends? With a quick tap to “check-in” on Facebook or Twitter, you can put your weather report out there for the world to see. This is great especially if you have planned a playdate with other moms at the park. You can quickly let them know, “Hey — it’s going to be raining in a bit.”

With Ourcast, you can even see what others are saying!

Get OURCAST for free!

Right now it’s available for FREE on the App Store for iPhones.  Those of us with Androids will have to wait a little bit longer, but it is coming soon!

In addition to their website, you can also follow up with Ourcast on their Facebook page.

This post is part of a promotional campaign with Ourcast. All opinions remain our own.

Thanks for the info Liza. I’ll give it a try. I’ve been using GO Weather and it’s not updating fast enough and it’s unreliable.
