I have to tackle this, too. Actually, I did part of it last night – pulling out all the old worn out or outgrown pairs and tossing them. I put the mismatches in a box and decided that next Monday I’ll go through them again and if I still haven’t found their mates they’d get tossed as well. I’m hoping this will become a habitual Monday chore… guess we will see!

Socks – arrgh!! They ARE a nightmare!

I tend to toss mismatched socks on top of the dryer in the hopes of someday pulling out the match. As a mom to four that means I end up with a dryer covered in socks. My husband has never understood how it can take a good part of the day to get sock drawers cleaned out so next time I might assign him the daunting task! Good job getting your sock monsters tamed!

The socks belonging to my 2 year old and 6 year old have been different enough to keep somewhat organized. They each have their own wicker basket for socks. Recently, though, I’ve noticed it’s becoming harder to tell them apart. The 2 year old’s basket is very full, but the 6 year old’s basket is looking pretty lean. Funny how that happens! I enjoyed your post. Good job!

When my 11-year-old was sick this past week, I folded his laundry for him and discovered that he doesn’t match his socks. He simply throws them all in a drawer. Socks are quite the tackle!

This week we tackled sickness with essential oils.
