Parallels Desktop 7 for Mac Giveaway

by Lolli

Right now more than ever it’s easier for PC and Mac users to coexist.

But have you ever tried running Windows-only apps on your Mac?

To help long-time PC users make the switch to a Mac without sacrificing the Windows-only software and files they still need, Parallels now offers the software Parallels Desktop 7 for MacParallels Desktop 7 lets you run Windows applications on your Mac computer.  With Parallels, you can have the best of both worlds all on one computer, so there’s no need to store your old PC in the back of a closet ‘just in case’.  No running to a friend’s house just so you can open a Windows-only app or file you need to use!

I am one of those long-time PC users.  I have heard so many great things about Macs, but I will admit that I like to stick with what I am already comfortable with.  Parallels Desktop 7 definitely makes me realize that it wouldn’t be difficult to actually make that switch.

For those current Mac users on the go, Parallels even has an accompanying Parallels mobile app that allows you to access your computer from anywhere via your iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch.

Forgot something on your desktop at home? Have no fear, Parallels is here.

Parallels Desktop 7 is available on their website for $79.99.  You can also get the Parallels Mobile app at the iTunes store for a special introductory price of $4.99!  (Standard price is $19.99)

Still not sure you want to make the switch?  Try it here FREE for 14 days!

I use Window of cause. Well why you ask? Definitely it is because of its price – cheaper and more software and hardware choice to choose from.

Thank you for this giveaway. I’m espoused to a very busy mom and yes, we are a multi-OS family. Parallels Desktop would be a way we could share the bounty of (often expensive) software.
Please allow me to enter the contest.

I guess I will make that switch sometimes. This trial period is a good way to see if I can make it.

I’ve been a Mac user for a little over four years and will never go back. I like the ease of use, the lack of viruses, and the ability to seamlessly sync my MacBook with my iPhone, iPod, and iPad.

It’s funny because I actually do have a tower PC in my house that only gets plugged in when I need to use the odd PC-only software I have, so Parallels would be great.

I use Mac, for the obvious reasons. It’s easier to use, more efficient, and no viruses. I can’t live without my Sony Vegas Pro though so this would be amazing.

I’m enjoying my Mac, but still need Windows for some legacy work software and work stuff. I have used both Parallels and VMWare, and really prefer Parallels. Winning a copy would be great!

I use Windows and Mac platforms. I mostly use my Mac for design programs, word processing, and a lot more. I use my Windows computer for AutoCAD since I don’t want to purchase the Mac version, plus it will cost an arm and two legs to buy.

I use a Mac because I cherish the craftsmanship that went into both the machinea and the Operating System. But I use Windows as well because I adore the versatility of it.

I love my Mac because it’s fast and does many things, including booting between Windows and Mac naturally.

Thank you!

Both. PC for gaming, mac for sitting on the couch websurfing and watching Netflix. If I had parallels I’d install Windows and use my PC only HDTV dongle to record tv.

Mac computers are better than Windows computers, because Macs come with stickers! :D

I like the fact that OS X feels like a crossbreed between Windows and Linux: You can get a gorgeous UI and plenty of quality software while still being able to be a hard-core power user.
