Mocafe Review and Giveaway

by Guest Contributor

There is just something about coffee and tea that get me going. I love the different infused flavors that companies offer. That is why I was glad to learn of a company that I had never heard of before, Mocafe.

I volunteered to review an assortment of new Mocha and Chai products from Mocafe.net.  I visited the website and loved what I saw. I was even more surprised by the selection of Mocafe products I was sent.

Here’s what you’re seeing:

  • Azteca D’oro 1519 Mexican Spiced Ground chocolate
  • Precious Divinity Spiced Chai Tea Mix
  • Precious Divinity Spiced Chai Tea Mix (Decaf)
  • Precious Divinity Vanilla Chai Tea Mix
  • Precious Divinity Mango Chai Tea Mix

I dutifully made one cup of each (not all at the same time, mind you) and here’s what I thought.

Azteca D’oro 1519 Mexican Spiced Ground chocolate

Made with heated milk, NOT water, this one takes a little extra effort. But if you have never had Mexican hot chocolate, you’re in for a treat. It’s got a fair amount of cinnamon in it and is creamy and delicious. The only problem I had was that I microwaved the milk and it wasn’t quite as hot as I’d like it to be. Prices start at $22.78 and up.

Precious Divinity Spiced Chai Tea Mix

This is the tea that makes me never have to set foot in a Starbucks again. Unless I really want to. It’s actually better than what I get at Starbucks. It’s really creamy with just the right blend of spices. The calories aren’t bad (130 per serving) but you do have to watch the sugar (21g) and fat (3.5g  saturated fat). Prices start at $24.24 and up.

Precious Divinity Vanilla Chai Tea Mix

The vanilla chai was probably my second favorite. It’s similar to the Spiced Chai with just a subtle hint of vanilla and not as much spice. Prices start at $24.25.

Precious Divinity Mango Chai Tea Mix

Who expects mango in their chai? Not me, but I was intrigued. It was a lighter tasting chai with a mild fruit flavor. This was my third favorite. This is what I would call an afternoon tea or even a summertime tea. The mango makes it taste just a bit more refreshing for hot tea. Prices start at 24.25

I really liked all the variety of flavors I was sent. If you are looking for a new tea product to try out, give Mocafe a whirl. The taste will leave you coming back for more.

Stay in touch with Mocafe through Facebook, Twitter, and the website.

Disclosure: I was sent an assortment of products to review from Mocafe.net but all opinions are my own. Needless to say, I really, really liked the products.
