I know I can’t be the only one with that sweater — you know the one. It’s the one that you bought because you loved it, but after you got it home and put it on, you realized that it showed just a little too much cleavage. You’ve tried pinning it so that it laid differently, only to be disappointed so you banished it to be worn only at certain functions.
I have a couple sweaters that I wear a black camisole underneath to preserve my modesty. The cami frequently bunches up, creating lines beneath my sweater. It also slides down as the day goes on, giving me a little less cover-up than I’d originally intended. I still use it because it’s the best solution that I have, but I wish that I had something different. Well, now I do. I was recently sent two Cleavitz half-tops to try.
Cleavitz comes in an array of colors. I was sent a turquoise Cleavitz and a black lace Cleavitz, which is nude material covered with lace atop it. Prices start around $29.95 and up. Sizes range from XS, S, M, L, XL, and 2X.
Cleavitz® is an ultra-comfortable half-top that gives women of all bust sizes the confidence to wear the stylish, low-cut fashions in the marketplace today. Cool, comfortable and fashionable… that’s Cleavitz®. Cleavitz® come in 3 styles: Cotton, Shimmer, and Lace.
Layer it… Leave it… Love it…
What I love
Cleavitz are made from cotton and Lycra, and it is their blend of Lycra that keeps the Cleavitz from slipping. I can vouch for the fact that I wore my Cleavitz all day, and it did truly stay where I put it, whether I adjusted it high to be very modest or lowered it some. It was comfortable to wear, as it isn’t so constrictive as a sports bra – especially since there is no elastic at the bottom of the Cleavitz.
I really like that they aren’t camis, which means that they don’t bunch up around my waist as I move throughout the day. It keeps a slim profile under what I’m wearing, which I appreciate.
The lace and shimmer Cleavitz are a great concept to dress up outfits, as well. I remember more than one suit I used to wear to work that left me just a little uncomfortable and diving to my closet to try to find something to help. These would be a great addition to a working wardrobe to slide under suit jackets, especially the ivory or charcoal shimmer Cleavitz.

Michelle is happy to report that after investigating her closet, she is discovering additional items that would really benefit from a Cleavitz half-top. You can learn more about how she dresses at her blog Honest & Truly! or by catching her on Twitter where you can find her as @honestandtruly.
