		<description>I had influenza in high school. I didn&#039;t have the complications that you did, but it was terrible! I&#039;ve never been so sick in my life! It&#039;s like having the worst cold and stomach flu all rolled into one! I remember that it even hurt to move my eyeballs. I don&#039;t want my kids to have to go through that, or even worse. That&#039;s why I get my kids the flu shot.</description>

		<description>our first child was born late Sept a few years ago - our dr made sure to let us know that while he was too young that year to get a flu vaccine, that the best defense for him was for all the adults around him to be vaccinated, which we gladly did.

we now are expecting a daughter in Jan and have been careful to ensure that we also are all getting our flu vaccines this year - our son got his last week.  So after vaccinating the children in your life who are eligible, make sure the adults follow-up and get theirs too!</description>
