I didn't have the complications that you did, but it was terrible! I've never been so sick in my life! It's like having the worst cold and stomach flu all rolled into one! I remember that it even hurt to move my eyeballs. I don't want my kids to have to go through that, or even worse. That's why I get my kids the flu shot. I had influenza in high school.
