Clearly Fresh Bags Review and Giveaway

by Jennifer Sikora

I don’t know about you, but I cannot stand buying fruits and veggies at the store and then having them rot or get overly ripe and mushy in just a couple of days after purchasing. It frustrates me to no end to have that happen, especially if its for a special dinner that I am planning. There’s nothing like getting ready to cook and pulling your veggies out, only to see that they have already ruined.

I was recently introduced to Clearly Fresh Bags — a new way to keep your veggies and fruit fresh for much longer than normal. We are going to be hosting a giveaway so that you too can try out Clearly Fresh Bags (giveaway info at the bottom of the post).

At first, I have to tell you that I was skeptical, simply because I have used those little green bags at the grocery store that they provide, and the results have pretty much been the same — wilted and rotten veggies. With the Clearly Fresh Bags, I began to see why my veggies were staying crisper longer, and my herbs were not wilting either. They really do work!

About Clearly Fresh Bags

Keep your fruits and vegetables fresh-from-the-market longer and save money by throwing away less! Clearly Fresh® bags  use BreatheWay technology to allow your fresh produce to breathe naturally and last longer – PLUS this bag is re-closeable and recyclable. Simple to use and cost-effective! Eat More Fresh, Healthy, Natural Fruits & Vegetables & Waste Less!

The bags clean up well after using. That means less expense in storage and less expense in the grocery department as well!

Right now, you can save an additional 20% off the purchase price! When placing your order, just use the coupon code 54MOM and you will get 20% off. This code is good through February 17th.

Enter to win!

One reader here at 5 Minutes for Mom will get their own set of Clearly Fresh Bags to use. To enter this giveaway, simply leave a comment here letting us know how the Clearly Fresh Bags could help you.

This giveaway will end February 23rd and a winner will be chosen by Random.org and announced in our Around the Blogosphere post on the following Sunday.

Disclosure: I was sent a set of Clearly Fresh Bags for review. All opinons are my own.

This would come in especially handy during the winter & early spring, when we participate in a produce co-op. It’s always a race to use up the veggies we get before they spoil (the fruits never stand a chance though.)

We dislike frozen or canned veggies, so always buying fresh. Nothing irks me more than going to the fridge to cook green beans or broccoli only to find an icky product.

It’s hard to imagine a bag that allows the produce to breath while keeping it sealed fresh but if it does what it says it does then I see our food sticking around a lot longer! =)
