    I decided that since I’m walking the dog every day I might as well take up jogging at the same time, very gently and very slowly at first as I’ve never done this before and at my age I don’t want to snap something and diminish my efficiency in the rest of my daily life. Love Archer foods and love Target – even more after their recent advertisement including a Down’s child – a real breakthrough.

    I”m turning 40 this year! It is time to lose the extra weight that has been accumulating around my middle..Both o my parents are diabetic and my father has serious circulation and heart problems. I do not wat to go down that road. Eating healthy (not dieting) and exercising regularly are my goals for 2012.

    40 by 40!! I turn 40 on 5/31/12.. and I plan to lose 40 lbs of “mommy carb weight” by then. I know all of the weight is from the few french fries here, graham cracker there… type attitude and I’m doing it!

    My other resolution is to face it all: any of the woes in my life need to be dealt w.head-on: work, $$, weight, etc.

    I am hoping to lose my post baby weight. My daughter will be 2 in just a few weeks and when summer rolls around I want to be able to run and play with her. If I start eating right and exercising them my daughter will always know how to be healthy. And I think that will be the best life lesson I could teach her.

    Okay 2012 is here and I am determine to have the best year possible. To kick start my baby fat weight loss. I am during a 60 day fresh fruit and vegetables juice fast. I am on day 6 and I am doing great. I am very very determine to get myself healthy and fit, while doing that I want to read through the whole bible because I have never done it before and I also want my family to eat more whole foods.     I am going to finally cross the dang finish line running a half marathon. I trained for one with a friend a couple of years ago. I worked so hard and dang it got sick the morning of the race and never completed it. It got me so depressed I did not run or workout for three months.     I am 43 and have been overweight my entire adult life, which has led to depression and the guilt over not being there for my kids in the way I would have liked. I do have another chance with my 7 year old son who came much later than my other 2 kids. My husband and I are determined to make some much needed changes in our health, we are getting involved with the cub scouts and doing some hiking, etc. We just want to be able to keep up with him and not hold him back at all. Trying to give up as much sugar as possible and start eating more veggies, along with my weight lifting and some cardio.     For me this year is about two things, incorporating whole foods and gaining (yes, you heard me) ten pounds. I sometimes have trouble eating whole foods (like apples, strawberries, spinach) because they can sometimes go bad fast and take more time to prepare. I’m a college student who really does like her frozen foods (at least they’re Kashi and Amy’s brand!) so this year I’d like to eat more raw, organic, whole foods. I hope to focus more on the preparation and really savor what I’m eating, instead of nuking and sitting in front of the tv! I also hope to gain about 10 pounds. I’ve had a lot of weight issues and right now I am having great difficulty putting on weight. Although I have gone from 83lbs to 100 lbs over the last year, i started to lose from stress and have gone down to 92 lbs. I’m going to be working very hard to maintain a healthy BMI and make sure I get in the proper nutrition, If it gets down to the weight I used to be, my life could depend on it
