Compassion trip preview

by Jennifer Donovan

My excitement about the trip has finally overcome my nervousness, but this video says it all for me. There is a need (there are lots of needs), but at the heart what we’re going to be doing is seeing and interacting with children: school-aged children, babies and toddlers, teens. They are poor, and they are in need, but they are children.

Take ninety seconds to watch it, and stay tuned. I’ll be posting at least once a day from the DR all next week.

Thanks to each of you who have posted encouraging words and promises to pray. I appreciate it.

I’ll be following your journey. Stay safe, be blessed and get ready to come home changed, my friend.
