Name Your Tune

This is my 4 year old, Sonny.

He’s got quite the personality.  He’s the type of kid who likes to make up a song and dance to entertain people, and has named each and every stuffed animal and superhero he owns “Sonny” – after himself of course.  (Except the one he named Carlos, but that’s another story for another time.)

So when I came across Name That Tune Personalized Cds for kids, I knew it would be perfect for him!

Name Your Tune has compiled much-loved classic children’s songs and transformed them to feature your child’s name–in every single song.  Kids and adults can sing along with the songs that are old and new – like “Old MacDonald Had A Farm E-I-E-I-O”.  Only in our case it then became “Little Sonny Had A Farm E-I-E-I-O.”  There are 14 songs on the first CD and 12 songs on the second CD – which means your child will get to hear his name over 80 times on each CD! In fact, Sonny’s favorite is quickly becoming “Boom Boom Ain’t it Great to Be. . .Sonny”.

If your child has a more unique name, don’t worry!  I worried because when we go to stores that have personalized names, I can’t ever find personalized items for my kids–Frankie, Sonny,  or Danny.  Usually I will find a ‘Dan’ or ‘Frank’,but that’s as close as it comes.  Name Your Tune has over 4,000 names,  and their performers are in the studio several times throughout the year to add names that are requested by our customers.

Like I mentioned, the CD’s are even personalized.  Sonny’s says “Merry Christmas Sonny  Love Mommy & Daddy”  Each Name Your Tune CD is made to order with your child’s name printed on the label your way.  What could be better than that?

I know one little guy who is going to be beyond excited to get these CD’s on Christmas morning.  (And I know 2 other guys who I just may have to order some for.)  Click here to order your personalized CD set now.  You can get both for just $36!

Such a great gift for the little people in your life, I know a 3 year old who would love hearing his name a few times.

We got one of these for our daughter last year for Xmas and I would love to win this to give one to my son, who is 1 this year!

  3. Wendy O. says

This would be perfect to listen to in the car! I’m always looking for new music, and to have it personalized would really excite my daughter.

This is a fabulous idea. I had something like this for my oldest son but have not seen anything like it in years. I know my 3 year old would just flip out in excitement to hear songs with his name in them.

I think it’s a great idea! How fun to hear your name over and over. Our little guy is having language difficulties, and he really learns better with music. This would be such a help for anybody who is having difficulty speaking because it would be a fun, non-threatening way to practice their names. :)

What a great idea! My daughter will love getting to hear her name in a song. She is really into music right now, so it’s the perfect time for something like this.

These sound so cute. Would be fun to hear one of my kids’ names on SOMETHING. That’s the downfall of picking unusual names for all our gang – rare to find anything truly personalized for them.

  8. Kat says

I love this. I have several children whose names are unusual enough that it is impossible to get personalized name stuff without custom ordering. They would be so thrilled to hear their name in a cd.

  9. Angel K says

I love this! My name was never on personalized stuff, they always had angela or angie but no angel, my daughter Layla has the same problem!

  10. Megan Weber says

Growing up my sister and I had a cassette that sang us a birthday song with our names. When my daughter was born, her grandpa gave her a tunes set with her name spelled on it because we spelled her name differently than you can find. We just had our second daughter and she has a unique name so this would be great to carry the tradition on!

  11. Pauline says

My middle daughter has a CD made in her name and she and her little sister love it so I would like one for the little sis – (emscout9 at Hotmail dot com)

My grandson would love to hear his name called out other than,
“Stop, Laine.”, “No, No, Laine.” Haha I think Name Your Tune would be a great for him.
