We are huge water drinkers around here. I walk around with a giant 40 ounce water bottle everywhere I go. The wee ones seem to stop at every drinking fountain they see, and I’m happy that at school they are also encouraged to bring water bottles to drink throughout the day. That said, I don’t buy bottled water. The wee ones have their own reusable water bottles.
The downside to this is that those water bottles don’t always make it home to get washed. They are generic and silver and look like everyone else’s. And the wee ones see these as functional. Sure, the bottles belong to them, but there’s no pride in ownership, and let’s just say that we’re starting to run a little low on stainless steel bottles around my house, and I’m not sending them with my 40 ounce bottles!
WaWaBots Personalized Water Bottles
I think that problem is now solved. The wee ones just received WaWaBots reusable water bottles that they adore. These are customizable stainless steel BPA-free bottles just the right size for the wee ones. The water bottles have various photos of the wee ones, as well as their names – just in case someone doesn’t recognize the photo of Mister Man, as my mom pointed out. They were so excited when I handed the water bottles to them, and they couldn’t wait to show all their friends. I have a feeling these bottles will be coming home.
Pros:
The process of ordering the bottles was easy, too – once I figured out which of the many design options I wanted for each bottle. I simply uploaded photos, dropped them where I wanted them in the template and was able to crop and change size and slide them around as needed to make them perfect. From there, I customized the bottles with their names – and I loved the ability to choose the size, color, and font for the text. They turned out great. I had expected a sleeve of some sort over a regular metal bottle that would eventually peel or flake away, but instead I was happy to see that the pictures are really a part of the whole bottle enamel and don’t seem like they’ll come off any time soon.
Cons:
That said, I was a little disappointed that when I forgot to put the text on Mister Man’s bottle, there was no way to edit an already created bottle. Instead, I had to start over on his bottle and delete the first one from the cart. It would have been nice to be able to simply change things around if I’d decided I wanted a different picture or font size or color or wording. Finding a font that would fit the text I put on the bottles could also be improved. Although when I chose something that was too big for the box was clear, it would be nice to more easily see which fonts would and wouldn’t work with the text size I chose rather than choosing one, seeing it didn’t work, having to click the “ok” button on the error message and selecting another font, hoping it would fit.
Those are minor issues with the ordering process, though, and we’re thrilled with our new water bottles. In fact, with the bottles costing $19.99 I think I’ve found the perfect birthday party gift for the wee ones’ friends. Who wouldn’t love a bottle like that?

I love these bottles! We are always losing ours at school, a personalized bottle is sheer genius and I am completely jealous that I didn’t come up with the idea myself. My boys like the Aliens bottle and the Raindrop bottle.

That is a hard decision. I like so many of their designs. I would chose the sports theme for my oldest, the animal print one for my youngest, for my middle son I would probably use the simple design. I love that this is a unique way to personalize the bottles. We traditionally draw something on the bottles with a permanent marker but after time that eventually washes away. And since all of our bottles are the same, on field trips it can get confusing about whose is whose. I love that this would solve that problem.
