Do you have a child who loves stuffed animals? A child who wants to dress that stuffed animal up like a doll in different outfits, but those outfits seem hard to come by? Or they just don’t fit the stuffed animal right?
Meet Zylie the Bear.
Zylie is a 12 year old bear whose aunt is a world-renowned journalist. She travels all over the world having adventure after adventure. What can be more fun than that!
There are so many things I love about this bear I don’t know where to start. First of all, at 18″ tall she is super soft and huggable. Zylie is fashionable! She comes dressed in skinny jeans, a printed flounce top and a very pretty cream colored swing jacket. (The jacket is my favorite!) Included in the starter kit along with the bear is an orange bag she can wear that includes her diary, map and passport. Also included is her 1st book The Adventures of Zylie the Bear: New York where as much fun as it is to read her story, it is also educational. The book even has a glossary of terms at the back for words children might need help with!
Additional outfits for Zylie can be purchased. In the future, additional books will be released that follow Zylie on adventures to other countries. Can’t wait for more books to be released? While it may seem like this is a stuffed animal only for girls, think again! They have Shen the Panda for boys!
He is Zylie’s friend from China. In fact, Zylie the Bear has partnered with the China Care Foundation to fund surgeries for underprivileged orphans. By using the coupon code “ChinaCare1″ with the purchase of a Zylie or Shen, $20 from your order will go directly to the casting and surgery needed to help a little girl named Yuan who has club foot walk normally through casting and surgery.
Something else I love about Zylie? They give back through an awards program honoring children doing great things for their communities called Zylie’s Awesome Kids (Z.A.K.). They find kids in their local tri-state area who are supporting a cause, and one child will receive a $1,000 educational scholarship for college. Love this as a mom. Educational from beginning to end.
As you can see, Zylie is so much more than just a stuffed animal. That impresses me a great deal. While your little one will love to cuddle and play with Zylie, they will also be learning in so many ways. Zylie is a must add to your child’s Christmas list this year. I know a little one who I am looking forward to giving one to!
