Win a Planner or Wall Calendar
It’s me again, telling you about the planner that I’ve finally found that works for me (and of course, giving you the opportunity to win!). I’ve been using my BusyBodyBook for over a year now, faithfully and consistently. It’s great at keeping track of my work deadlines here at 5 Minutes for Mom, my posting schedule at 5 Minutes for Books, my children’s school and soccer schedules, appointments, playdates, church musical rehearsals, after school meetings — Whew! The one thing that it doesn’t do is fill in these dates itself, so it only doesn’t work when I neglect to write in all of our events and activities.
But seriously, for whatever reason, this is the planner that has worked for me. Other times, I’ve purchased the planners, I’ve figured out a system, and then gone back to (maybe) just jotting the dates on my calendar, even though I love the idea of having a planner where I can keep track of projects, goals, and to-dos in addition to my appointments and commitments.
The BusyBodyBook is a 9 x 7 inch planner. The right side displays a calendar week, with the BBB five-column layout. These columns are great, because I can assign each one to a certain category, or simply right across the columns for each day. On the left side, there’s a great to-do list. In the back, there are lists that can be torn out for shopping or other reminders. I always use the school year version, August – September, because that’s when I get organized in my mind, but I was tempted to switch over this year, because the Jan – Dec designs are absolutely gorgeous!
Brand-new this year is the BusyBodyBook Wall Calendar. At only $14.95, it has so many excellent features. First off — it’s a bit larger than a regular calendar (14 inches wide). It is a week by week calendar, not a month, featuring a seven grid column to help keep up with all the family members’ obligations, meal planning, exercise goals and more. You can hang it to show one week at a time (11.25 inches long), or with two weeks showing (22.5 inches long). At the bottom of each page, it features a spot to make a list, which I always find so helpful to jot down grocery or Costco items while they are fresh on my mind.
If you buy two or more products by 10/31, from their site, you get free shipping! You could buy a planner, the great undated Fridge Grid Pad (great for meal planning or children’s chore charts), and/or the new wall calendar.
If you’d like to win a BusyBodyBook planner or their brand-new Jan – Dec 2009 BBB Wall Calendar, leave a comment here (state your preferences — which type of planner or the calendar). We will give away two planners and two wall calendars. We’ll announce the winner on November 8.
