Logitech Revue With Google TV Giveaway

I’ve been oozing with excitement over what I have to give away to one of you. I have been eager to share this incredible product with you guys, and the more research I have done, the more jealous I have gotten that YOU get to keep it and not me.

You’ve probably guessed what we’re giving away based on the title of the post, so I won’t waste any more time.

Why am I so excited about the Logitech Revue?

Logitech Revue with Google TV (retail value $99) is a neat little device that hooks up to an HDTV and, through a home broadband connection, can access internet video sites (like Netflix and Youtube) and can integrate with programming from certain TV service providers such as Dish Network and DIRECTV.

Some features of the Logitech Revue:

  • It’s TV that’s all yours – there are so many options and possibilities with the Logitech Revue that your TV really becomes YOURS. What you are interested in is what’s on.
  • Google TV in a box – Simply connect your TV and cable/satellite and your Internet connection via Ethernet or Wi-Fi to the Logitech Revue, and you’ve got Google TV.
  • Future ready – Logitech Revue is a companion to your TV and not a TV itself, so it can be easily updated. Your TV will do more as Google TV does more.
  • Built-in expandability – Expand your TV experience with video cameras that let you share to a smartphone app that gives you full control over your TV from your phone.
  • Apps for your TV – Love your smart phone apps? Now you can get apps created just for your TV, including Netflix®, NBA.TV and Pandora®.
  • Not your average keyboard – The wireless keyboard combines a compact keyboard, a touchpad, and a remote in one. You’ll never have to get off the couch.
  • Smartphone remote – you can control your Logitech Revue with your iPhone® or Android™ smartphone.
  • Wired and wireless – Logitech Revue comes with your choice of Ethernet or fast 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, so you can always get high-quality audio and video.

I’d love to use this to watch movies – any movies, but i think the kids would try to commandeer it to watch their shows…. just like they have most of the recorded programming on our dvr.

I’d be most excited to have access to more kids’ movies. So often, we watch the same children’s TV shows over and over again and see the same episodes. This would open up a whole new venue for finding shows and movies that we haven’t seen before. It would be especially helpful for our family movie night!
