Several years ago when my family and I moved from Arizona, leaving all of our friends and family behind, I took up blogging as a way to keep in touch with the ones I hold near and dear.
Our move was the hardest on my husband’s parents and mine, as they were now missing out on the everyday with our children.
Over the years, they have appreciated having my blog to go to, so that they can share in my children’s moments. From first tastes of rice cereal, to first recitals, I have been able to document those exciting milestones for them.

I have been following a story through a blog about a one pound preemie named Kayleigh. Yes that’s right, she weighed ONE pound at birth. She was not supposed to make it, all the odds were against her. But boy is she a fighter! She has been in the hospital for six weeks and will probably be there for many, many more. I think the digital frames are cool. Several years ago, my mom got one that has an internet connection for my grandmother. We all upload pictures for her to her frame. It’s a very cool grandparent gift!

My sisters and I bought one of these for our mom for her birthday. I didn’t realize how cool these are until then and now I want one myself. We had a blast picking pictures of all of us and our families to load on the frame. I’d put mine right by my computer.
