Tackle It Tuesday #115

Written by Carolyn

Oh Ladies! How I have missed you!

I don’t even have the words to say thank you… reading the comments last week brought me so much love and joy (and tears)… I pray that God will bless you above and beyond the measure you have blessed me. Thank you all for your prayers - they were definitely felt and appreciated!

I sincerely look forward to seeing you all on Tuesdays and have felt so bad to be struggling through my meezly little tackles each week thinking I am in no way encouraging you through any of this… but then I saw that you were encouraging me and I saw how God works EVERYTHING for good to those who love Him (Romans 8:28)

A HUGE change happened in my family’s life last Tuesday that I think has already really REALLY helped me. I have been feeling better each day and the strangest things have even been going wrong which makes me feel like what we are doing is right.
You know what I mean, right? The spiritual warfare… when you are in God’s will it seems the most peculiar things happen to get you in the wrong again…

…part of my tackle reflects this…

… Our car had a flat tire, just out of the blue - great timing huh? I took it down to our repair guy and it seems there was a nail in there - of coarse there was!

Take a look…

Oh yes and as you can see I also tackled the building of my daughter’s crib! I had to pull it out of the garage and find a place to put it… yes my poor daughter is sharing my scrap space with me - poor little lady.

Building the crib took me FOREVER because the phone was ringing like mad, and my son kept trying to steal the screws, and I didn’t have the directions, so I kept building part of it wrong! Oye!

Oh, and look at this :)

This week’s tackle was very collaborative… God sent my mother-in-law to help me nest in preparation for our little one’s arrival at the end of the month.

Big (((HUGS))). I’m so glad you are feeling better. I went through a bad post partum depression right after my youngest daughter was born.

You did so good with your tackles this week. Great job on the crib too without directions.

I love that picture of your little sweetie too.

#19 - Maddy @ 10:34 am

Oh my! I’m tackling my Mother in Law = what can I say, it has to be done.

Meanwhile for future reference I’d recommend one of those cordless phones, hands free thingies.

I don’t actually have one myself of course because blue isn’t really my colour.

Cheers
