Our plans were to be in it only for about 5 years then sell and buy a diff/bigger/better house. We have put a lot of work into our house, like updating the kitchen. Now that was a chore, we had a work crew here that started it then gave up because plaster walls are not completely level and the cabinets were difficult to put up. We decided to tare a wall down to open our dining room and kitchen up, well once again plaster, the ceiling started to sag and a large beam had to be put in to fix that. We did find a wonderful man who finished our kitchen for us but we have little things here and there, spiders, water bugs, a tub we had resealed and recalked, we have caulked it over and over again. I have mold on the shower ceiling I need to tackle, Carpet needs replaced and walls repainted. Although I will admit my problems seem small compared to yours, I am blessed with our house. I will say one more thing, our first child was born a week after moving in(this is a two bedroom house) 2 yrs later, #2, and 2 1/2 yrs after that our 3rd. We have had to do some shifting and remodeling to make us all fit but it is a roof and it is ours. I am blessed. YOu will be in my prayers. I am sure God will bless you for your sacrifice. Bev.
