Much like another commenter has stated… I can’t read the families blog post either. Just reading what you’ve shared is almost too much. I’m glad to know of this family, so I can pray for their broken hearts, but oh… it’s just too much for my mommy heart to imagine or digest. Like you, I’m hugging my kids so tight! Life is so uncertain and it seems lately I’ve heard of so many parents losing young children. It’s really unsetteling and difficult to cope with, even from a distance.

It is very very sad. I can’t imagine, I don’t want to imagine.
And I think it is a very timely reminder. Even in the kiddie pool to keep a watchful eye over them.

Personally – and I do mean just my opinion – that I find it difficult to read about so much tragedy. Our generation are the first to be able to know so many people from so many different places and even times! How can we care for so many who suffer loss? I don’t want to be hardened to it, but I also don’t think I can cope with so much loss (and the grief it should naturally bring us). Somewhere in here there must be boundaries. But how does one find them?

We are never supposed to bury our children. I cannot imagine how anyone could possibly go on with life after the death of a child. I simply cannot.

As I sit here in a very empty house I weep and weep and with my children gone for a week I am left to feel very sad for this family. I think I need a hug!

It amazing how we connect with others in blogshere and I just read about anther family who lost there home in fire.
I see both people can use a prayer and this morning both will be mention in my morning prayers.
