Tackle It Tuesday #108

Written by Carolyn

Hi-ya Ladies! Yes, it’s that time again… are you excited to see what I tackled? It’s no big feat as far as physical work goes but it was a tackle of my laziness!

I have been thinking about doing something with our car for months now! Well I FINALLY went online, found a place to donate it to and had them come pick it up.

I took my kids outside with me to let them watch the man load it on the tow-truck, they were fascinated! So cute to see them learn about new and interesting things. And to hear them saying “Bye-bye mommy’s car!” :)

Here are the photos…

It feels so good to follow through with things that have been on the list for a long time.

“Bye-bye mommy’s car”- So adorable!!

I’ve posted mine for today. And now I’m leaving my house. ALL day. I hope to come visit your tackles soon, but I must. get. away. from. here!!!!

I have a small gren house that is a mess since the beginning of the planting season. I have to tackle it today, put away all garden tools, bird seed, planters….blah blah blah! I am tired of walking around the Budweiser box of empty cans! It is going to the garage where it belongs!

I think it’s great that you donated the car!

Are you loving not having the car just sitting there reminding you that you need to take care of that? I would be.
It also must feel awesome to have donated the car. Was it one of those places that fixes them up and then sells them for very little to low-income families needing a vehicle to get to work? I wanted to do that with my first car, but it died completely – there was a hole under the passenger seat, apparently the only thing keeping the passenger’s feet from hitting the road was the carpetting.

Morning Rose @ 9:34 am

How nice to donate your car. Great tackle!

Karen @ 9:48 am

What an awesome thing to do.

What a wonderful way to pass it on. I am sure that others will benefit. It will be nice to get it gone. Now you will have your drive free and clear. Good job. Those are the tackles that get neglected but feel so good when they are done.

I like being apart of this. It helps me to stay focused during the day to complete the task that I post about.
Thanks for hosting this and encourageing me to get things done.
Have a great week!

I am sure it feels good to get something that big out of your yard. My tackle had to do with my yard too. Happy Tackling!!

Congratulations on getting rid of your car! I just did my first tackle-what a neat theme! Thanks :D

Amy @ 5:09 pm

Yay! Reminds me of when I was little and the neighbor kids’ parents finally got rid of their cars sitting outside. It was a big day for them; I’m sure it was for your family, too! What are you going to do with the space now that it isn’t covered in car? Re-cover it in chalk, perhaps?

brandt! @ 10:57 pm

Today was my first Tackle .. I am promising to have more accomplished tackles in the future!! Great meme!

Joyce @ 11:50 pm

That’s great that you donated it to a good cause…and a car…now that’s some big clutter you got rid of! Today was my first tackle…great idea!
