Disney DVD Giveaways
The Disney channel has become the place to turn for tween and teen entertainment. In fact, if you have a tween along with a child who is much younger, they are probably up on these personalities as well, and I know many adults who are big fans of these shows as well.
If you’ve been living under a rock and haven’t tapped into Disney culture (and honestly, even though I have a fourth-grde daughter, we have just dipped out toe into these waters in the last six months or so), here are the descriptions of two of the latest offerings, which both available May 27 on Disney DVD:
Minutemen
Who hasn’t dreamed of going back for a “do-over” of the one critical moment that could make or break a high school career? Three socially backward
high school seniors discover a unique way to do just that in the Disney Channel Original Movie Minutemen, with an exciting never-before-seen extended ending, an exclusive behind-the-scenes featurette and a Corbin Bleu music video.
A trio of the hottest young actors star in this hilarious high tech adventure as the Minutemen, teenaged heroes out to combat social injustice and level the high school playing field. Jason Dolley (“Cory in the House”), Luke Benward (Because of Winn-Dixie) and Nicholas Braun (Sky High) play three friends whose ingenious solution to the bullying and humiliation of the past backfires on them when they accidentally jeopardize the future of the universe.
Cory in the House: Newt and Improved Edition
Cory Baxter (Kyle Massey) is back in three zany episodes and one never-before-seen escapade in Cory in the House: Newt and Improved! With his father cooking for the President, Cory’s larger-than-life personality is not easily c
ontained within the White House staff’s quarters. Follow Cory and his best friends Newton “Newt” Livingston III (Jason Dolley) and Meena Paroom (Maiara Walsh) through a series of hilarious high jinks–orchestrating Newt’s first kiss, writing a hot new song for their band, and nearly destroying the Oval Office’s Presidential Seal. Viewers join the gang, getting an inside look into how an episode is made as the cast breaks it all down in a Backstage Disney bonus feature. Cory in the House: Newt and Improved makes its indelible mark on DVD May 27, 2008!
You and your kids will love having these DVDs around this summer. If you’d like to win one of each of these DVDs, leave a comment. We have two to give away. We’ll announce the winners on June 12.
