Tackle It Tuesday #104

by Carolyn*

I have a confession… yes, the pile of clean laundry you are about to see has been there – off and on – for about 4 weeks!!!

My laundry goes straight to this couch so I can fold it and get it put away, but this time it kept getting “hidden” on the couch in my room, then taken out here again to have another attempt at folding it!

Well! Now I have an even BIGGER problem with not being able to get my laundry done!…

Now my dryer is BROKEN! ;o( It totally gave up on us, so the clothes you will see hung all over my house are actually there trying to dry! (No problem with our 100 degree weather!)

Then since I was in the process of clearing off (what we call) my mommy’s dresser I decided to clean out the top three drawers as well, by reasons of safety for my son, if you wanna see all the scary things I removed, go HERE.

Sorry to hear about your dryer. Ours broke down a few years ago and we had laundry piles mile high until we got it fixed. We should have bought a new one for the amount of money it cost to fix it.

We tackled a table for twelve this week.

Love this post. Will be linking up next week with pictures of my garage before and after. (It’ll take a week to actually get done so I’ll start today.) :0)

Just wanted to say that I love those “faith notes” in your after drawer #1. I bought those in the grocery store one day with the intention of putting them on my daughter’s ballet teachers’ car window weekly. It opened the door to a friendship that I don’t think we’d have with her otherwise.

God is so good. Thanks again for this post.

Oh, my dryer has been broken for 4 days, too! I just got it fixed – like 10 minutes ago I wrote the repairman a check. So, now I guess I need to go tackle the laundry.

I am so in awe of what you achieved!!! I would be so embarrassed if anyone saw my bedroom, it is about 3 times as bad as your original clothes pile :(

I am with Amy, I need a “Tackle it Everyday” LOL

I found this today. WOW! I think this is a great idea. I have plenty of areas that I can tackle on Tuesdays. Thinks for inspiring me to do this TODAY! I needed to do it several days ago, however I kept putting it off. But now it looks great & I can find what I need.

LOL My bedroom looks like that right now…I have about 3 weeks worth of laundry I’ve never gotten around to folding…it’s just not that fun when you have 2 boys crawling through your freshly folded stacks *sigh*

Great Job!!

I have to do at least 4 loads a day..I have found that I have to fold and hang when I am taking them out of the dryer. If not then I would have them piles everywhere also…lol

I wash for 6 people so it is a dead end job!!
