Oh my goodness, it’s like taking those “leaps of faith” all over again. Think about it, we launch ourselves out as young people, and then as we raise our own children, we have to step out in trusting God with our children!

With summer around the corner, mom’s are going to need a break and I have just the thing for them and you. My book club just finished reading, “The Book of Mom” by Taylor Wilshire. It is a summer-read, fast paced, laugh out loud book about mom’s that feel overwhelmed undervalued and how they are able to bring balance to their lives–inwardly and outwardly. The book is never in stores because it is selling out–best to get it on Amazon. It’s loaded with too many self-help ideas but loved it anyway. Would love to have an on line book club with you and hear your thoughts!

I was just bemoaning to the hubby tonite that our youngest will start full days of school this fall, and I don’t know if I’m ready! Thanks for the encouragement that this post gave me – and the reminder that we Mommies may never fully be ready to let go for the next stage!

I’m so happy to still be in the baby and preschool phases with my children where I am still in “let-me-do-this-for-you reach.” I know I’m going to have the hardest time letting my girls go off into the world without me. Sigh… It will be hard. Thanks for your inspiration!

What a timely post for me. My son is entering his second year of being away from home (school, internship, camp counselor) and sometimes I just don’t want to know!

He’s a good kid but my mommy powers still want to kick in every chance they get.

I’m so thankful that God is bigger than I am and that He keeps a close eye on my boy. Where would I be without the Lord!
