Tommy is a special needs child with heart disease. Tommy suffered a storke following his first of many surgeries when he was 4 weeks old. This has left him with limited use of the right side of his body. he is able to walk with assitance of braces but has balance and support issues. This bike would give him the opportunity to experience the feeling of freedom and the rush of air against his face. I must have one. Where can I purchase one? Because of lack of services for her, she spends most of her days at home looking out the window, What an incredible opportunity this device presents for GETTING BACK into the world. I am saddened that this blog has so many parents like me who have children with special needs and see the much needed equipment that would allow our children to just be able to participate in a regula life again, but because of inhibitive cost must allow our children to continue to bystanders instead of participants.
