I should have gotten Susan to cover this week too!

Susan posted her fabulous playroom tackle last week – but I should have gotten her to cover Tackle It Tuesday this week too.

I have been away with my family for spring break for the past week and we just got home tonight. We quickly unloaded the truck and headed over to my in-laws for Easter dinner.

Now it is after midnight and I am standing in the middle of chaos.
Don’t you hate unpacking?!? It really is the worst way to end a vacation!

I am too tired to take any pictures – but you can picture it I am sure. The house was cluttered and crazy before we left and now it has bags half unpacked and scattered around the house from me searching for the items I needed to get the kids bathed and in bed. You know – basic post-trip chaos.

So, this Tuesday, I will be tackling unpacking and laundry – but since I tackle that how many times a year, it really can’t count much as a tackle can it?

I will also try to get to more of the UBP parties. My internet connection while we were away was so slow, party hopping was next thing to impossible!

And of course, I will be trying to get through emails and writing posts.

I am so sorry I don’t have any fantastic household tackles to show off this week. BUT, you can click through the Mr. Linky, because I know there will be some fantastic tackles in there!

The project can be little or big – whatever you want. Basically, Tackle It Tuesday is about giving ourselves incentive, deadlines and satisfaction in getting our household tasks done. (It doesn’t even have to be housework… just whatever is on your To Do list.)

I hate that part of a trip, too! This week I cured my kitchen of kitchencounteritis.

I hate unpacking from vacation too! Part of it, I’m sure, is the let down that this is reality, and you’d much rather be on vacation!

I did 1/2 of my pantry for this week’s tackle….
and I’ve got a contest going, so be sure to check it out!

I can totally relate to this.
The fun stops when you’re back home
and do all the unpacking…hehehe.
to top that, there’s also a lot of
housework to do.

but on the bright side, just think
of the fun you had with the family
during your trip. I bet they’re all
bubbling with joy for going on that trip. :)

That was our tackle last week after we returned home after an out-of-town wedding. This week I tackled my taxes, finally!

Welcome home! Packing is the HARDEST and WORST part of vacation!! Uggh!

Stop on by anytime. I’ll fix you a glass of iced tea & you can put your feet up!

I do hate unpacking! Usually I just dump all the clothes right into the laundry and go from there! :-D

Me too – everything goes straight to the laundry room the minute we walk in the door, otherwise the suitcases are likely to sit in the living room for days.

I tackled my first project, an overflowing bookshelf and the children’s clothes storage in the same room! I’m a bit late as my camera batteries ran out before I got the chance to take after photo’s!
I’m glad to join in with everyone.
Blessings,
Tracy
