Thanks to a great friend…

tt-sorting-clothes.jpgI have this huge bag of clothes for Olivia!

Before our friends moved, they gave us this big bag of their daughter’s old clothes. Because they were moving across the country, they didn’t want to take anything extra with them. So they gave us all of the clothes and told me to take what I wanted and to give the rest away.

So, tonight I am sorting through them and choosing what we need. The rest I will donate to goodwill.

I will put up the Mr. Linky now in case I am sorting into the wee hours tonight. When I am finished I will update with my “after” photos.

UPDATED: Okay – here is my after shot. (The pile on the couch is what we are keeping. I just need to wash them now. The rest of the clothes in the bag will be heading to goodwill.)

I’ll be tackling the basic household chores….dishes, laundry, vacuuming, dusting, etc. My husbands grandparents are coming to stay for a week, and I’ve been sick for the last 4 days (and still am, but it must get done). This bug has kicked me bad, and its gonna be a month before I’m back in the swing of things I think…..I just recently got caught up after my kids had the same thing 2 weeksa go! ACK!

Neither toil for the Lord even know what the sparrow has need of :) I have watched so many things of this nature. It is such a wonderful thing to have the open hands to both give and receive. Ya!

I had the same tackle last year when I received more hand-me-downs for my baby girl than I could ever use, some still with the tags on!

Just wanted to make one possible suggestion. Rather than goodwill, you might consider giving them to a crisis pregnancy center. They do a great work helping women to make a choice for life, and can really use donated baby items. Just an idea. :)
