Do visit the blog of babyganics http://blog.babyganics.com/ to see how seemingly harmless chemical products could be harmful and how organic ones are just as quality-competitive products as it's toxic counterparts

I think the trend of going natural and organic is a great thing for baby safety. This is what has worked for people in the past and this is what will work for today's moms and kids. I read a related post about it and I thought I'd share it with all of you.

[...] 5 Minutes for Mom just did an interview with a woman who owns an online store that sells natural baby products, HealthyChild.com. Reading their interview rekindled my interest in organic, chemical-free mattresses for all of us. More and more lately I want to get all the lead, PVC, pthalates, pesticides, etc, etc, ETC! out of our home and out of our bodies. We are exposed to so many nasty things that we have no control of that I think we need to take control of the things we can. Namely food, bedding, clothing — think pajamas. Kid’s pajamas are loaded with fire retardants! Why? I mean I know why, but you can’t tell me that the slim chance that the pajamas won’t immediately catch fire cannot outweigh the damage done by having such constant contact with the nasty chemicals. I just wish we could live a healthier existence without having to win the lottery to do it. Why do products that don’t have a bunch of crap added to them have to be so expensive? [...]
