Howdy! It’s Erica here, stepping in to do the tackle for this week. I thought I’d do something a little fun!
It seems for the past several years, every Autumn, I dye my hair brown. It’s mainly because the upkeep on my blonde highlights gets to be a bit much. As a young girl, my hair was bleach blonde. As I got older, my hair got darker. I am pretty sure that now, at the age of 30, my natural color is a light to medium brown.
So instead of saving up money to head to the salon for much needed highlights, I decided to head to my local grocery store to pick up a box of hair dye.
Yep, tonight I am tackling my color, going from blonde to brunette. At least I hope it turns out brown and not red, orange or green. Either way, I will have an after picture for you. (I think) If it comes out horridly, you might have to pay me first.
Okay, here goes nothing:
Getting everything ready. I used Crystal Brown #60 Feria
and here I am.
To be honest, I am not sure if I like it much. I wanted it to be darker, so I might have to do another box to get it the shade I was picturing. But, the nice thing about hair, is that we can always change it.
