Share Summer Smiles With a $50 1800FLOWERS.COM Gift Card

This summer, 1-800-FLOWERS.COM is on a mission to spread smiles across the nation. With “Summer of Smiles,” they are encouraging everyone to brighten someone’s day with thoughtful gifts and flowers.

Here are few of the sunny and smile-inducing bouquets that 1-800-FLOWERS.COM has available this summer:

It’s Your Sunny Day™ Bouquet

There is nothing like a little sunshine to spread some cheer. I just love the smiling sun that is included in the bouquet and can be used as a decoration long after the flowers are gone. This bouquet definitely lets the sunshine in.

Fields of Europe™ for Summer

This brilliant blend of lilies, roses, snapdragons and poms is inspired by the rolling hills of Provence, Tuscany, and Holland.

Martha Stewart Sweet Pink Rose and Ivy

The delicate pink rose signifies elegance and grace, while the ivy is a sign of friendship and a strong relationship.

We would like to help one of you spread some summer smiles. We have one $50.00 1-800-FLOWERS.COM gift card to give away. Just leave a comment below and let us know who you would choose to send a bouquet to. This giveaway ends on Friday, August 27th. We will announce our winner on Saturday, August 28th.

My mom. After working for a company for 6 years they had to unfortunately close. I would love to send her something just to cheer her up. :) She has been out of a job since the end of July and needs a little something to let her know we love her. 😀

My oldest daughter LOVES flowers and right now she is only days away from becoming a bride. She would never expect to receive flowers before the wedding and it would make her stressful (but fun) days even more delightful.

I would love to send flowers to one of my good friends who JUST got her first teaching job (only 2 weeks before school begins- she was really worried she wasn’t going to find something this year).

I would definitely send a bouquet to my mother. She’s in her 80’s, lives far from us, and since we do not get to go see her too often I think it would be a nice gift.

I would love to send one to my mother. This month marks 2 years since her breast cancer diagnosis (though she’s cancer free now!!), but our family is also going through a lot of hard stuff with my brother, and I would love to send her flowers to encourage her.

My friend who’s been nursing her husband for 6 years as he waited for a liver transplant only to find that a previously undetected cancer has spread throughout his body and he will be dead within a year. She is a brave, dedicated, loving woman who deserves a bit of grateful acknowledgement for her unending labors of love.

I would send them to my sister from my children. She does so much for them and they love her so much – it would be nice to say thank you when she wasn’t expecting it. Maybe I’ll send her flowers win or lose! Thanks for the idea and the chance! :)

I would love to win and send something to my Mom. She is 70 years old this year and still working full time taking care of a paraplegic on the night shift. She works so very hard. I would love to be able to send her someting to brighten her day as I didn’t get to see her this year. She lives in Iowa and I live in Michigan.

I would send these to my mother. Its been 6 months since my dad passed away, and she took care of him 24/7 for two years during his slow battle with cancer. She has been absolutely fabulous building her personal and professional life back since his passing. I think these would definitely make her smile. Thanks!

I’d like to send some to my husband. He has had a rough year with the passing of his father, and the anniversary of that date is approaching. He will be starting a new position with his company on that date, and I’d like to send him something special so he know’s how much we love him.

I would send it to my daughter in celebration of her first post-college job. She is one of the lucky graduates that landed a great job just a couple of months after graduating.
