Windstorm = No Power = No Tackle

Thanks to a huge windstorm we’ve had no power and thus no Internet all day!!! The power has just now finally come back on and we have no tackle to show.

What we do have to tackle now is a ton of missed work. Monday is always our busiest day with our online stores, so now we (especially our mom who runs the stores) have a lot of catch up to do.

Hopefully our time in the dark is done.

But what about you? I assume you have power and Internet access.

What are you tackling this week? Link up and let us know.

The project can be little or big – whatever you want. Basically, Tackle It Tuesday is about giving ourselves incentive, deadlines and satisfaction in getting our household tasks done. (It doesn’t even have to be housework… just whatever is on your To Do list.)

My first try at Amigurumi this week!

Sorry to hear about the power outage/windstorm. Bad weather always puts a muddle on things.

Oh, I love a good windstorm, but I don’t like it when the power is down.
Today, I am tackling stress.

Well I had my tackle it day yesterday. I was off for Veteran’s Day and my kids were at school.First I was able to devote almost two hours of uninterrupted time to reading my bible and meditating, then I was able to go to the grocery store, and come home and clean. I set my timer to 45 minutes per room. I finished all rooms except for my kids and I cooked a big pot of chicken chili and bbq turkey meatballs for the kids!!! all before 5pm where I was able to sit down and enjoy a quick snack uninterrupted. To top it off I was in bed by 9pm!!!

This week I’ve been working on establishing a nighttime routine for myself so I can get in bed before midnight. I made a list of everything that needs to get finished, from washing bottles to laying my clothes out for work to looking for a great children’s book to feature in my blog. I made copies of the list and post one on my fridge every night. The result? I’ve been in bed by 10 all week!
