Why I hoped no one came to the front door this weekend… I can use the “new baby” excuse no longer. This mess must go! After a busy week of running in and out and not picking up after ourselves, our front room looked terrible! There was stuff everywhere - and at some points even a stroller parked in the middle of the room. Yes - I really hoped no one dropped by unexpectedly to visit. But I couldn’t bear to live with the mess any longer. Plus, with Halloween trick or treaters arriving on Wednesday, I simply needed to tackle this chaos. Here is the disaster before:
There is still a box of stuff waiting to be donated under one of the coffee tables, and some of the clutter will quickly return I am sure, but here is the after shot:

I did it! I actually set my mind to it and ORGANIZED a whole room (okay, technically two, but I always consider the entryway to be part of the living room, even with the doors).

OK. I’m in. Lord knows I need SOMETHING to motivate me. It’s Wednesday, so I can have time to figure out which mess to tackle first. Guess I’ll run around the house and take pictures of all my messes first. Can’t wait to post the afters next Tuesday. Good luck to all of you. Please INSPIRE me!!!
