Win a Hallmark Recordable Storybook PLUS ten more to giveaway to a local charity of your choice!
When Hallmark sent me, All The Ways I Love You, one of their Recordable Storybooks as a thank you gift at Christmas, I immediately fell in love with the concept of these incredible keepsake books.
Hallmark Recordable Storybooks feature voice-capture technology that records the reader’s voice directly into the pages of the Recordable Storybook. When a page is turned, the book automatically plays the text on that page in the reader’s voice.
The books are beautifully illustrated and written with the quality we expect from Hallmark, but personalizing each one with your own recording makes it a priceless gift for a loved one!
My two year old daughter ADORES her “special book.” (My eight year old son loves it too, but Olivia tries to keep it all to herself!)
Watch Olivia’s face light up and listen to her squeal as we read All The Ways I Love You at bedtime.
Hallmark now has ten Recordable Storybook titles available in Hallmark Gold Crown stores nationwide. Each title retails for $29.95. For more information, visit www.hallmark.com/recordablestorybooks.
Also, there’s a “Share Your Story Tab” on Facebook where people can submit their own personal stories. You can see how these books have touched others and submit your own story too if you want.
I cannot recommend these books more!!! They are brilliant — each one you give will be treasured forever.
Win for you AND for Charity!
We have one Hallmark Recordable Storybook to giveaway, PLUS ten more copies for a local charity of the winner’s choice!
As these Storybooks have touched lives from coast to coast, Hallmark wants to share all the Storybooks have to offer with members of your community, particularly those who may be separated from family or in need of gifts to share with loved ones.
Hallmark is providing 10 copies of a Recordable Storybook (selected by Hallmark) to donate to a local charity of our randomly selected winner’s choosing.
The selected charitable organization must be local to the winner, serving their area, (for instance, a military base, children’s hospital or shelter).
Because these books record voices, people who are separated from loved ones, such as children or people in the hospital, military families, or families in crisis, would be wonderful receipients.
Enter To Win
To enter, simply leave a comment letting us know the local charity to whom you would like to donate the ten additional copies if you win.
The winner will be chosen by random.
This giveaway will close on Friday, August 6th. We will announce our winners on Saturday, August 7th. This giveaway is open to US residents and is void where prohibited. Please see our site’s terms and conditions of use for more information.
While in order to simplify entering for you we no longer accept extra entries, please feel free to share this contest on Facebook and Twitter, and/or sign up for our newsletter, or add our feed to your reader. And you can like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter if you want!
Written by Janice Croze, co-founder of 5 Minutes for Mom.
Please Note: Hallmark provided prizing for this giveaway along with product samples. This post is part of a sponsored campaign with Hallmark. As usual, my opinions are completely my own!

This would be a perfect gift to donate to Covenant Home School Resource Center in Phoenix. They service hundreds of homeschooling families each year, and many of them are struggling to make ends meet. Covenant offers a new and used homeschool bookstore, classes for students, testing, workshops for parents and incredible encouragement and equipping so families can be successful in the homeschooling journey. These books would be ideal gifts for some of the moms who lack confidence in their skills.
Thanks!

I would donate the books to the Iowa National Guard’s FRG. The Iowa National Guard is preparing to deploy to Afghanistan for a year beginning in August and there are many children who would love to receive a book with their mother or father’s voice reading them a story. While there are many advances in technology allowing communication between the soldiers and their family members back home there is no guarantee as to the availability to the soldiers for phone or email. This is especially difficult for children to understand and while it is not the same as talking to their loved ones its nice to hear their voice.
Angela says
I have seen these at Hallmark and thought they were a great idea. As a single mom I just can’t afford $30 on a book so it would be GREAT to win one 🙂 I would like my 10 copies to go to the Duke Children’s Hospital in Durham NC.

Oh I would love to give this to the early learning center that my wee ones just graduated from and that I was PTO president of for the last two years. One of our goals has been getting up to the recommended goal of 250-500 books per classroom, and we’ve made so much progress (we started with some classrooms at 10). Fingers crossed!

This is adorable and so worthwhile…
I would love to give the books to the area Ronald McDonald House…
So often parents bring a child to the area hospital for an extended stay, and one parent needs to return home to work…this book( with the leaving parents’ recorded voice) would be a comfort to the child, and to the parent!!
What a blesing!

I would like to give these to a local after-school program that I used to help with. Most of the young children there don’t have books of their own. And most of the books at the after-school center are old and out-dated. New books are always exciting for these kids.

She is sorely in need of raffle prizes for this and these would be perfect.

I would pick The Pink Daisy Project which helps young women with breast cancer. Young women are often diagnosed with breast cancer at a more advanced stage with a more aggressive cancer. If they are mothers, they often try to find ways to let their children have memories of them if their cancer is terminal. One of the ways that they do this is by writing out birthday cards for the rest of the child’s life. If they live to see that birthday, they can destroy the card. If not, it provides a valuable keepsake for the kids. This would be another great way to provide a memory for the kids.

I would send the books to Shriner’s Hospital for Crippled/Burned Children in Greenville, SC. My daughter was a Shriner child for 17 of her first 18 years of life. During her first surgical admission we met several young children who had been in the hospital for a wide variety of procedures and they had been there for several months without a family member with them. Their parents would come on weekends but were not able to stay 24/7 due to having other children at home and needing to work and maintain a home that their child would eventually be able to come home to. It was so sad to see these children stand or sit and watch their parents leave knowing it would be several days or weeks before they would be able to return for a visit.
Kelly Massman says
I would send the extras to the Rape & Crisis Abuse Center…maybe it would bring some cheer to some children who have pretty rough lives…

My grandmother recently had a health scare. The local fire department was called in to assist her. They responded quickly and acted with compassion. I would like to donate the books to HARWOOD-LOTHIAN VOLUNTEER FIRE & RESCUE DEPARTMENT INC. This would be great for the workers to send a book home to their children.
