Those blueberries look great. I hope I also have the time buy and pack them in several plastic bags. Maybe even better if we can grow them in our backyard.

I’ve always heard that if you don’t wash them and freeze them on a cookie sheet or on a baking pan in a single layer, preferably not touching each other (once frozen you can put them in a bag), the skins will not be tough when you thaw them out and they’ll be ALMOST as good as fresh! Just wash them when they thaw and gobble them up! Yum!

MMMMMMM fresh blueberries. Here in the southern US, $2 per pint is the cheapest I’ve seen. I miss the fresh late-summer and autumn harvests of the northern states.

Oh, I just reread the post and realized that you picked up the blueberries. I thought you had found time to pick 30lbs then Ikea then bag and freeze them. Not that that isn’t enough in itself, I’d still like to have some of your water to have half your energy!

I LOVE blueberries. Every year my mom goes picking with my daughter so we end up with a years worth of frozen blueberries for our blueberry pancakes!
