Babeebrite Contest

review-babeebrite.jpgJust a little light – not too much – and it is hands free! This is just what a Mom needs.

Babeebrite hands-free pocket light works for all kinds of nighttime duties – like late night feedings or diaper changes, or even reading a story to your child.review-babeebrite-reading.jpg The removable clip fastens on to surfaces up to 1 inch thick and it has a 90% adjustable arm. You can even keep it in your purse for all those times you need some extra light.

The Babeebrite by Mommy Bee Happy is definitely a great Mommy tool. This must have been invented by a Mom right?

Yes – a Mom is behind Mommy Bee Happy! (So of course 5 Minutes for Mom just has to tell you about Rachel Quittner the Mom who created Mommy Bee Happy – that is what we are here for!)

Rachel Quittner’s husband Brian, a former Santa Barbara Harbor Patrol officer, invented this pocket light six years ago. It was originally made for police officers to fit into their shirt pockets providing a “hands-free” light source. (There are over a half million police, EMT and military personnel wearing QuiqLite worldwide.)

review-babeebrite-diaper.jpgBut once Rachel became a Mom, she realized what a great Mommy tool she had in her hands. She used it for everything from nighttime duties at home, to camping, to walks at night, and even in the car and on trips. So Rachel decided she needed to introduce Babeebrite to MOMS!

And word is spreading about this handy little light. Babeebrite won the iParenting Media Award for one of the best products of 2006. This month Babeebrite is in Pregnancy/Newborn “Diaper Duties” and will also be in Conceive Magazine in a spread of products picked from Trista Sutter’s (of “The Bachelorette”) baby shower.

I know that when I am packing my bag for the hospital I will definitely be adding Babeebrite so I can have this soft light instead of the glaring hospital lights for my late night feedings. (But I will have to buy some extras since I can’t pry mine away from my son Jackson. He thinks it is a perfect light for a little boy!)

If you want a Babeebrite pocket light, leave a comment here. Mommy Bee Happy is giving us three lights to give away. And of course, hop over to Mommy Bee Happy to find out more about these fabulous little lights and where you can buy them.

This contest is only open to US shipping addresses.

I would love to be entered. My husband and I were just talking about solutions at night when one of us wants the light on and the other does not…

Sounds like the perfect night light for us! We’ve (Me, DH, 3 yr old & 6mo old) had to move into one bedroom of my parents house! I hate waking everyone up at night if I have to find a lost pacifier or something like that!

Wow! I so could have used this with my DD in the hospital last week…I hope Mommy Bee Happy is listening..they should try to market this to hospitals for the nurses and parents to use when they really don’t need those glaring overhead lights….it would have been so mice since my DD seems to wake whenever lights are turned on. Count me in..maybe I’ll get lucky!

Must have one of these! My little one is 22 months now, but he is a pro at whipping off those diaper tabs after I’ve put him down for nap or night, even while he’s wearing pajama pants. So every night after he falls asleep I go in, flip his 31 pounds over, and re-diaper. The Babeebrite would be an awesome tool for this bizarro habit of his…

I’m not sure if I am too late, but if not, I’d love to be entered for the drawing. Thanks! It looks like a great product and I love that a mama and wife invented it.

This would be great to have at night. Sometimes I can’t sleep, and hate to turn on an overhead light and bother the family. Thanks!

I love reading to my two year old daughter and my unborn child, expecially at night. This looks like a wonderful invention, it would allow me to read in the dark. I could keep that cozy quite environment and still have light to see. We’d love one.
