Lead Me To The Cross

by Janice

I find it so hard to get past my comfortable existence to grasp what Christ endured for us — to understand Christ’s sacrifice on Good Friday.

I appreciate The Passion of the Christ so much because it helps me to focus on the magnitude of Christ’s suffering and His Gift to us all.

Here is a YouTube video featuring Lead Me to the Cross by Hillsong United with clips from The Passion of the Christ.

I hope it also blesses you as it blessed me this Good Friday.

Thank you Lord for all you have done for us!!!

Yes, It’s makes John 3:16 really come alive. Thank you for the post. It is really what I needed to focus on what Good Friday is all about. I have never seen the movie ( not sure why) but think I need too! Really brought tears to my eyes. A new appreciation for what Christ did for all of US!
Yes, HIS beautiful Gift to all of us.
Blessings, Donna

I really recommend seeing the movie. It is painful — but it should be. The easy life we live is perhaps one of the most dangerous things. I need to be shaken up and shown what Christ really did for me.

I’ve never seen the movie because I’ve heard it’s graphic and I wasn’t sure if I was comfortable with it. After watching that clip, I’m still not comfortable, but it gives a grasp of reality of what Christ did for me. A lot of blood was shed for my sins. Thanks for posting.

It definitely is graphic. So if you don’t want to watch the whole thing, these YouTube videos are a wonderful way to get the impact of Christ’s sacrifice.

I saw the movie in the theatre when it first came out. It was excruciating – but for me something I really wanted to see.

I’ve seen The Passion of the Christ once. It was powerful and challenging and artistically done – and it helped me reflect on the crucifixion in new ways. That said, I don’t think I’d want to see it again. It was very, very difficult to watch – not at all “entertaining.”

Happy Easter to you and your family! I am so grateful for Jesus’ sacrifice and His great love for us.
