I remember seeing the quads at Disney for the Social Media Moms Conference and they are the cutest little boys ever.
I was afraid I would have twins because they run in my family and my sister had twin girls (who are holy terrors!). I was blessed with two wonderful boys three years apart.

Some days I feel like I have multiples with 3 kids in under 3 years – soon to be 4 kids in four years. It is great how the kids all get along, but I can’t imagine bringing all of them to a blogging conference! I’m impressed!

As a mom of two sets of twins (5-year-old girls and 20-month-old boys) I have to comment on this post. I love the way QuatroMama put it – that she would’ve croaked on the spot if someone told her she would have quadruplets. I feel the same way about having 2 sets of twins. It is overwhelming at times, but also quite rewarding as we watch them interact with each other and with us. People ask me how I do it and I just tell them that the only thing I know is taking care of twins, so it’s not a problem. We were MUCH calmer with the arrival of our boys than we were with the girls. I even took inspiration from my first twins to invent the Baby Dipper bowl that lets parents feed babies using only one hand and helps toddlers feed themselves, something all moms need, particularly those with multiples. What a great family! I am terrified by the possibility. I keep telling my husband that I’m worried we’ll choose to have a third child, then get pregnant by accident and end up with five. I know we’d manage the blessing of multiples–I’m just not sure from how!

I have twins and love it. I wish I could have another set of twins but DH and I started late in life with kids so we are done. I don’t know that I could have handled triplets or quads.

I found your site through Quatro Mama’s blog who I love reading b/c it puts me in check when I feel overwhelmed with 11 month old twin boys!

But I agree with her sentiments that ignorance is bliss. I do not know what it is like to just have one at a time so I think it is easier for us to have nothing to compare it to. There are some hard days/nights but even though it might sound cliche’ getting twice the hugs and giggles makes it all worth it!

I am a mother of GGB triplets who will be 1 yrs old, next Friday. My husband (high school sweetheart) and I wanted two kids – a girl and a boy. So we had our daughter (7 yrs old) and wanted to try for “one” more emphasis on the “one” and preferably a boy before I turned 40. Well I have to say GOD has a great sense of humor, because he gave us our boy and we got two extra girl gifts along with him. And to top it off, our last triplet came home on my birthday. A day I will never forget.

I never imagined being a mom of 4, especially triplets but they are all healthy and thriving. I wouldn’t change it for anything. One of the girls is already walking – that I would change if I could! Looking forward to following both of your blogs.

I have 2 wonderful children (not twins), and I cannot imagine having twins! We’re done having kids so I think I escaped that fear. My cousin has twins, and I have no idea how she does it!

Thank GOODNESS ignorance is bliss! If I would have known that I would one day be a parent of quadruplets, I think I might have croaked on the spot! So thankful for my absolutely out of this world husband. He is a trooper and LOVES his role.
We are so very blessed, and thankful for the opportunity to share our miracles with our loyal community.

I couldn’t imagine having multiples! I imagine myself being super overwhelmed!! I give so much respect to those moms who have had multiples!!!! Mom’s of the year??

God knows what each of us can handle and no, I do not have multiples. My sister has twins. My brother has twins and 2 or my 3 maternal cousins have twins. So, He does know what He is doing.

I had 3 children under ten years old and was 36 years old when I found out I was expecting identical twin boys. I was scared to death! What if I had a nervous breakdown? What if the laundry piled so high I no longer could climb the Mount Everest of dirty clothes in front of my washer? What if we had to take bankruptcy in order to buy diapers and formula (because there was NO way I was using cloth diapers or breast feeding two at once!) All my “what ifs” dissolved the moment I held them in my arms. I could almost hear God whispering in my ear, reminding me to trust him. That was 18 years ago and my babies are 6ft. 8inches tall and wear size 16 shoes. I wouldn’t change a minute of it! We can do more than we think we can, especially with God’s help. Although I have to admit, if my twins had been quads I would have really been freaked!

I totally agree! so inspired by Quatro Mama and also Quatro Papa (nobody talks about that holy man!!!). The grace with which they handle the kids makes me feel so guilty that before I complain, I think of them. Great post!
